13-Week Budget and Tracking Sheets

Everything requirement 2 asks for, on four sheets. Print this page and the site header, footer and these instructions drop away — you get just the forms.

  1. Before week 1: fill in Sheet 1, your budget. Submit it to your counselor before you start tracking.
  2. Each week: record that week on Sheet 3. Print one copy of Sheet 3 for each of the 13 weeks.
  3. Each week: carry your weekly totals onto Sheet 2, the one-page record of all 13 weeks.
  4. After week 13: fill in Sheet 4 and compare. Then talk it through with your counselor.

The spreadsheet does the adding up for you and opens in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. Paper and spreadsheet both satisfy the requirement — the pamphlet forms are fine too. Pick whichever you will actually keep up with for 13 weeks.

Sheet 4 — Budget Against Actual

Which categories did you estimate well?

Which were furthest off, and why?

What would you do differently in your next 13 weeks?

Keep your originals. Submitting photos online does not replace showing your counselor the actual sheets.
